Former Mamelodi Sundowns striker Kenny Niemach has warned the Brazilians against undermining their Nedbank Cup opponent Stellenbosch FC this afternoon.

The two in-form teams will square off against each other in the semi-finals of the Nedbank Cup at the Danie Craven Stadium on Sunday.

Niemach says even though Sundowns are favorites to go through, Stellies will be a different kettle of fish compared to struggling Kaizer Chiefs.

On Thursday, Sundowns ran riot over a ten-man Amakhosi, beating them 5-1 in the DStv Premiership encounter at FNB Stadium.

"Sundowns they are on their way to the 7th league title in a row, it speaks for itself," Niemach tells KickOff.

"This team is well-oiled, they are not short of confidence, and they are more stable.

"I'm not sure why everybody is shocked with the results they achieved against a team that is in transition like Kaizer Chiefs.

"But a cup match is a cup match, a once-off you know, it brings a different mentality, it's a must-win if you want to get to the next stage.

"And you have to rotate a bit and use players with that same kind of mentality.

"Rulani his tactical acumen is gonna be a bit stretched, but I'm sure he will find a way.

"Stellenbosch is a really good team with firepower going forward. Iqraam Rayners there's an X-factor about him, out of nothing he can score goals.

"It will be an interesting game indeed, absolutely Stellenbosch will be more difficult than Kaizer Chiefs because they are more organized.

"Kaizer Chiefs they are a team still in transition, they've been getting poor results away from home and they've been struggling.

"Stellenbosch is more settled compared to Chiefs, Steve Barker is a good coach, he's been there for a while and the players know him.

"But the Sundowns team is well-oiled, so it's gonna be difficult for Stellenbosch to stop them.

"I think having both Sundowns and Orlando Pirates in this year's final will be good for the game as it's going to be a sold-out affair.

"But that said, it would be gambling to say Sundowns will go on and win that game against Stellenbosch."
