Chelsea made it back-to-back wins in the Premier League after thrashing West Ham United 5-0 at Stamford Bridge on Sunday afternoon.

Blues coach Mauricio Pochettino made just one change from Thursday's win over Tottenham Hotspur, with Thiago Silva coming back into the side in place of Alfie Gilchrist.

Chelsea made the perfect start when Cole Palmer reacted quickest to the loose ball in the box and sent a powerful finish into the bottom corner for his 21st league goal of the season.

The home side went on to double their lead on 30 minutes when Conor Gallagher added his name to the scoresheet with a lovely volley in the box for his fifth goal of the campaign.

West Ham's defending did not get any better and the Blues took full advantage when Noni Madueke was allowed to sneak in head home from close range after Silva nodded a corner to the far post.

Pochettino's charges carried that momentum into the second period and gabbed a fourth goal three minutes when Nicolas Jackson had the simple task of slotting into an empty net after some unselfish play from Madueke.

The Hammers did look a bit more livelier in the second half and should have had a goal back when Paqueta did well to play Emerson, who horribly sent his over the crossbar from eight yards out.

The Blues rounded off the scoring in the 80th minute as Jackson calmly slotted past Alphonse Areola to complete his brace after being played in by Moises Caicedo.
