After parting ways with their tactician recently, a PSL club is preparing to unveil Kwanele Kopo as their new head coach ahead of the 2025/26 season.
University of Pretoria have been in search of a coach for the past few weeks after parting ways with Tlisane Motaung.

The Tshwane-based outfit has now completed interviews for the vacant coaching position, with Kopo now a hot favorite coach to take over as head coach going into the new campaign.
The former Pretoria Callies mentor has been without a job since December 2024 after parting ways with Chippa United, citing a desire to seek a new challenge.
According to sources close to the Motsepe Foundation Championship side, the one-time assistant to Pitso Mosimane is already preparing for pre-season.
"The club has interviewed few coaches. They have already made decision and Kopo is set to take over as new head coach in the new season," noted one source.

Tuks finished 10th in the season past and will look to improve on that, with the big aim being a return to the elite division.
Kopo is expected to recommend his own technical team after the club also parted ways with Sammy Troughton.
