Hlongwane set to leave TS Galaxy

Midfielder Lefa Hlongwane could be on his way out of DStv Premiership side TS Galaxy after a reported falling out with team management.

Hlongwane joined Galaxy in the 2021/2022 season from Maritzburg United.

The 29-year-old is yet to make an appearance for The Rockets this year.

Now according to sources close to the club, the player has already indicated his intention to club management on his intentions of leaving the Mpumalanga-based outfit at the end of the season.

"Lefa Hlongwane is unhappy with the lack of game-time at TS Galaxy," a source close to the player's camp tells KickOff.

"He has already notified the team's management about his desire to leave the club at the end of the season."

The Rockets have additionally also sold defender Given Msimango to Kaizer Chiefs, while goalkeeper Melusi Buthelezi has been linked to Orlando Pirates.

TS Galaxy currently are in 10th position in the league standings with 30 points after 25 games so far this season.
