Vila, Galaxy financial dispute concluded
DStv Premiership club TS Galaxy FC and former player Sibusiso Vilakazi, have reached an outcome regarding a financial dispute.
The 33-year-old laid a grievance with SAFPU against Galaxy for unpaid monies.
'Vila', as the player is known in football circles, joined The Rockets from Mamelodi Sundowns in July 2022 and was released from his contract after just 10 matches.
In a much-publicised dispute, it emerged that the midfielder was dealing with personal struggles at the time, which led to a disagreement with coach Sead Ramovic.

The Mpumalanga-based club defaulted on their payment after failing to honour Vilakazi's contract.
"Vilakazi... TS Galaxy paid him," SAFPU secretary Nhlanhla Shabalala tells KickOff.
"We served them with a letter of demand and also referred the matter to the PSL. The hearing was supposed to be on the 1st of September. It was last week Friday.
"But then the attorneys of TS Galaxy contacted us and informed us they had paid the debt. And when we checked with the player, we found that indeed they had paid, so it was settled. It was struck off the roll, and the DRC didn't even sit because the money was already settled," added the organisation's secretary.

"We also had the case of Sizwe Mdlinzo against Chippa United, and also in that one, all money was deducted from the club's grant. Whilst on Chippa, there is also Akhona Manqola, he won his case. The money was also deducted from the grant of Chippa."
Vilakazi currently features for Sekhukhune United.
