Former Mamelodi Sundowns striker Leonardo Castro has shared his thoughts on the club's current manager, Miguel Cardoso.
Sundowns are set to play the second leg of the CAF Champions League final on Saturday, 1 June.

In the first leg, the South African champions were held to a 1-1 draw by Pyramids at Loftus Versfeld Stadium in Pretoria — a result that seemingly left a sour taste in their mouths after the Egyptian side equalised in the final minute of stoppage time.
Nevertheless, this marks Sundowns' first appearance in the final since they won the tournament in 2016.
Castro, who was part of that triumphant side nine years ago, has given credit to Sundowns' current boss Cardoso for guiding the club to the final, despite not adopting the typical South African style of football.
Castro, who now plays for Greenville Triumph in the United States, told Egyptian outlet Al-Hurriya: “Although Cardoso does not rely on the usual South African football style, the results prove his success, as he has managed to lead the team to the CAF Champions League final for the first time since 2016.”
Notably, Cardoso also reached the previous Champions League final with Esperance de Tunis.
However, he had to settle for a runners-up medal after Esperance lost to record champions Al Ahly.
