Former Kaizer Chiefs captain Keagan Dolly has revealed his targets at new club TS Galaxy following his recent move to the Mpumalanga-based outfit.

Dolly was unveiled as a Galaxy player last week Monday, after briefly training with the club the previous week.

He had been a free agent after parting ways with Chiefs at the end of 2023/24. 

A move to SuperSport United was turned down in the last minutes, with the club opting for another free agent, in Vincent Pule.

With the speculation now ended and the pint-sized attacker having penned what is understood to be a one-year deal with the option to extend, the former Mamelodi Sundowns man has opened up about his plan for his new spell.

"I'm excited to join this family. It has been a couple of months, everyone knows that I have been away from football and not having a team," Dolly told the club's media. 

"But I've always said that we're looking for the best project that will suit me and my family, and we found a family in TS Galaxy. We could not be happier.

"We're just looking forward to enjoying football again. Work hard and contribute to the team on and off the field because I feel there are a lot of youngsters at the club who are exciting and I'm just going to try my best and help them contribute and score a few more goals.

"I just want to enjoy football, I feel like I owe it to myself, I owe it to the people around me and I owe it to the club, its supporters and the chairman for allowing me to come here and play football and try to help where I can," he added.

Dolly could get a chance to make a good first impression when Galaxy take on Sekhukhune United in a Betway Premiership fixture on Tuesday.
