"I go year-by-year, season by season. I don't look and calculate how far I can go," Parker told the Sportslive show.
"I live within the moment, and through living in the moment, I take care of my body, and we will see where it will take me."
Parker had a stint abroad from 2009 to 2011 for Serbian giants Red Star Belgrade before featuring for FC Twente before a brief spell with Panserraikos in Greece.
"There are two highlights for me, representing the country at the 2010 World Cup on home soil and then the special one is when we played Spain here in South Africa," Parker added.
"Spain, after the 2010 World Cup came back and had a friendly against us, and I scored the only goal to win the match.
"So we won the match on the day. So those are the two great highlights of my Bafana Bafana career."
