Parker: 'The surgery was a success'
Veteran attacker Bernard Parker confirmed he has undergone successful surgery after suffering a broken leg in Wednesday's Carling Knockout Cup clash.
Parker suffered a leg fracture following a horror tackle by Mamelodi Sundowns' Bongani Zungu at Mbombela Stadium.

The 37-year-old underwent surgery in Nelspruit on Thursday afternoon and faces a lengthy layoff.
The Bafana Bafana international's playing future has also been thrown into doubt having suffered the injury in the twilight of his career.
"The surgery was a success. Thank you so much for the love and support, especially from my family, I love you guys," Parker said.
"Mr Tim Sukazi and the TS Galaxy family, the coaches, and the management, thank you very much for the support.
"My captain, well done on the man of the match performance and getting us to the next round as a team.
"Everybody that has sent messages, especially the other soccer clubs, thank you so much, and our supporters.
"My supporters, thank you so much for the well wishes and all the love you guys have been showing, I appreciate you.
