Ramovic: Why I was cut off
Head coach Sead Ramovic details the reasons that led to his non-existent post-match interview in TS Galaxy's victory over Mamelodi Sundowns on post-match penalties on Wednesday.
The mentor reveals that before the match he went and asked the broadcasters – SuperSport TV whether he could touch on the Israel/Palestine conflict but was prohibited.

Galaxy raced into a two-goal lead in the first half, but lapses of concentration saw Masandawana bounce back to send the match to extra-time before falling short in the penalty shoot-out.
"Let me start this way, the last six days it was not that easy for me, and for my staff because we had to prepare and make a game plan but in your private life, you can see the sad pictures, and videos that are happening in Palestine," Ramovic told Marawa Sports Worldwide.
"So, before the game, I asked the SuperSport guys I like to talk about it and humanity they did not allow me, they did not allow me. So, during the game when we scored one goal, a second goal it was happiness but on the other hand some of the pictures came back what you saw during the week.
"Kids, the babies, people that died during the week got killed and it's not that easy because yes soccer is a game but it is not real life," he added.
Strangely enough, the coach states that he did speak post-match but the visuals from the broadcasters were different on the Television sets.
"Real life is exactly this and this is what makes us also sad when you see there's so many so when I said after the game I don't want to talk about the game.
"I continued to talk but they actually cut me off, what I said, and I will now say it, 'Our prayers are with the people of Palestine as the President of South Africa has said it, we are against any kind of violence to humanity'.
"South Africa went through apartheid; Palestine is going through the same before the eyes of the world. Now I'm not a politician but I'm a human being, I got cut and the question is why? Now I'm sure that a lot of people not a lot of people but some people will say politics have no place in sports.
"Why must he talk about that conflict after the game, how do Gaza and Israel have to do with the match? And the answer is humanity, humanity," Ramovic said.
With the Rockets in the next round of Carling Knockout, their next encounter will be in the DStv Premiership and host Sekhukhune United next Sunday.
