TS Galaxy FC's head coach Sead Ramovic is said to be impressed by his trialist.

Free agent Leletu Skelem is set to learn his fate at the Mpumalanga club following the long assessment.

The 24-year-old winger became a free agent after he was released by Maritzburg United in December.

According to an insider at Galaxy, Ramovic has already made clear his intentions to club chairman Tim Sukazi of adding the former Stellenbosch FC star to his squad.

"Everything is going well for the player here, he is expected to sign anytime from today," a source tells KickOff.com

"At the moment they are still negotiating the length of the contract though. Though nobody knows how many years the club proposed to Skelem, I know the player told them he is looking for a two-and-a-half-year deal.

"All that is left now is for the club, the player and his agent to come to some sort of agreement, remember the player is being represented by his father.

"Though he is a free agent, I think both parties the club and the player wants to know where they stand with each other before the end of the January transfer window.

"But the big plus is that the coach Ramovic is very interested in having Skelem in his team."

Though they are number 12 on the DStv Premiership log table, Galaxy are not yet safe from relegation as only four points separate them from bottom-placed Marumo Gallants who are on 15 points.

Galaxy faces Golden Arrows next on January 29, at Mbombela Stadium.
