TS Galaxy star Given Msimango praises 'higher standard' of European opponents
TS Galaxy star Given Msimango has praised the 'higher standard' of European opposition as The Rockets complete a mid-season trip to Turkey in preparation for the resumption of the DStv Premiership.
"This being my first European experience, I've tried to absorb as much as I possible can to help take my game to the next level," Msimango said.
While in Turkey, The Rockets played to a 1-1 draw against Girensuspor, before falling to a 5-1 a hammering against Serie A side Sampdoria. They shared the spoils once more in another 1-1 draw against Saudia Arabia side Albatin in their final game of their trip to Turkey.

The 25-year-old however insists, many lessons have been picked up from the mid-season trip, down to the training regiments.
"Even the training methods used here have been different to what we're used to in South Africa," Msimango added.
"Watching these European teams train, you can tell that the standard is higher. As a footballer, it's always good to see players who, I can say, are at a much more advanced environment and you can only learn and grow from that."
Msimango has been one of the stand-out performers in a struggling TS Galaxy side, picking Man of the Match performances against Richards Bay in September and from a 2-2 draw against Kaizer Chiefs in October.
The Rockets will continue their campaign to climb up the log table when they face Maritzburg United at the Harry Gwala Stadium in KwaZulu-Natal.
