Following reports that TS Galaxy head coach Sead Ramovic has attracted interest from Raja Casablanca, KickOff has learnt that official talks have taken place and are progressing really well.

Raja had a historic season in Botola Pro under the guidance of Josef Zinnbauer, assisted by Fadlu Davids, after they became the first Moroccan 'Invincibles' with the 2023/24 title and capped it off with a Throne Cup.

The Green Eagles upset current Kaizer Chiefs coach Nasreddine Nabi's former side AS FAR to both the title and Throne Cup, after the latter led the standings for the majority of the campaign, only to be pipped at the post by one point.

After Davids was lured away from Raja by Simba, reports have continued to link Zinnbauer with a move to the Middle East, with his departure believed to be imminent.

This website can reveal that the Rockets are officially in negotiations with Raja over Ramovic taking over from the former Orlando Pirates mentor.

After Galaxy chairman Tim Sukazi came out in public to give the Serb-German his blessings if indeed Raja were interested, this publication has established that talks have taken place between the two parties and are actually now at an advanced stage.

Indications from sources are that Ramovic's departure to Casablanca is imminent and that the Mpumalanga-based side actually called a meeting on Tuesday to address the issue formally.

The ex-Wolfsburg goalkeeper was given his break as a head coach by Galaxy in 2021 and has transformed them into a more competitive team.

Under the 45-year-old, the club has transferred a number of players to big local teams and European clubs.

Galaxy had their best season in the DStv Premiership last term after finishing sixth in the standings despite losing at least seven key players the season prior.
