TS Galaxy chairman Tim Sukazi has opened up on the future of head coach Sead Ramovic, who looks set to head up north, and explained how he had offered the Serbian to Chiefs last season.

Ramovic is reportedly the favourite for the head coach role at Raja Casablanca, with current head coach and Invincibles title winner Josef Zinnbauer expected to take an offer elsewhere.

The Serbian has turned Galaxy from a relegation candidate club to a competitive team in the PSL. 

The Rockets made it to the final of the Carling Knockout, losing the Stellenbosch FC last season, and finished in a respectable sixth position on the DStv Premiership table.

Sukazi has revealed that he's been so impressed with Ramovic, that he offered him to Amakhosi, who, at the time, were in desperate need of a good coach after a horror spell under Molefi Ntseki.

Chiefs eventually decided to continue their pursuit of Belgian-Tunisian Nasreddine Nabi.

Speaking media at the Mpumalanga Premier International Cup, Sukazi revealed that he had recommended his head coach to the Soweto giants.

"He has attracted Raja Casablanca's interest. He and I have been on this subject. Where I am sitting, he has my blessing," Sukazi told journalists on Saturday.

"I did obviously tender him to one of our biggest clubs, Kaizer Chiefs, when they were looking for a coach, to say they can have him. 

"I believed he would really turn their project around and make Kaizer Chiefs the most formidable club.

"It never happened. It doesn't matter. I would have wished he remained locally, more especially at a club like Kaizer Chiefs. 

"I did say I don't work at Kaizer Chiefs, maybe they've got a different approach. As we know now, they have a new coach, which we congratulate and wish them all the best.

"But for Ramovic, it has become inevitable for him to attract interest from the top clubs on the continent and even in the world. I think one day he will be in the German Bundesliga. I know it will happen."

Sukazi was also the brains behind an initiative to bring German club FC Augsburg to South African shores for what was their first pre-season tour out of Europe in the club's history.

Augsburg defeated Tanzania giants Young Africans 2-1 in the first match of the Mpumalanga Premier's International Cup at Mbombela Stadium on Saturday.
