Mlambo details Galaxy exit
Well-travelled midfielder Xola Mlambo revealed how his refusal to accept cheating in a table-tennis football game at training led to his sudden departure at TS Galaxy.
Mlambo, who broke into the topflight at Chippa United before going on to the then Bidvest Wits, Orlando Pirates and AmaZulu is currently unattached.

He joined Galaxy at the start of the 2022/23 season after his release from AmaZulu and, at the time of his departure played 25 times with one goal for the Rockets.
"We were preparing to go the Chippa (United) game and played table-tennis, football tennis, and it happened that my team played against the coaches.
"It's competitive, it's nice, it's stimulating the mind because as much as it is toning down, it's fun, but we were preparing to go the game, and then we are being cheated," Mlambo told Marawa Sports Worldwide.
"Remarks (were)are being thrown, threats to the officials of the table tennis, we lose a game we go down, we play we win we have to come back to the square that they call the Champions League that means if you win you progress until you get there. And if you remain there you are the Champions.
"We came back and played against them, and the similar things occur. Me, I can't take it, I'm sorry. If I have to be cheated and accept defeat like that, it's bittersweet for me," he added.
As he dwelled on, the midfield ace known as 'Ten-Ten' believes he perhaps should've taken all in his stride with no objections but was prevented by his morals.
"The training session finished, we gathered, we prayed, and if I feel I did wrong maybe I wasn't supposed to leave.
"I was supposed to be a coward and take that defeat, and whatever is being said is said, and then everyone will like me, and I'll remain and be part of the team, but, unfortunately my morals don't allow me to do so, I want everything and the treatment to be fair for everyone," Mlambo said.
The 32-year-old's last match was against Sekhukhune United when they played to a 1-1 draw at the back end of last season.
