TS Galaxy manager Sead Ramovic has provided a update on Bernard Parker's road to recovery.

Parker sustained a career-threatening injury against Mamelodi Sundowns in the Carling Knockout Cup in October 2023 after being tackled by Bongani Zungu.

The striker has missed the last five months of action as he works towards his recovery.

While many had doubted whether the veteran could return from the leg break due to his age, Parker appeared to be confident that he will make a return to the pitch.

Ramovic has now given a positive update on the forward's return adding that it is only a matter of time before the former Kaizer Chiefs player is back on the field.

"In terms of the injury, he is doing great now," the Serbian coach revealed, per Hollywoodbets Sports Blog.

"The only thing is that he has to get in his head [is to trust] his body… and this will be a process.

"But he is training with us, he is doing all the exercises that all the players are doing.

"He is also training well and you can see that he is very close to being back on the field.

"He is a world-class player, he is absolutely top and I am sure that towards the end of the season, we can see him if he stays without injury."

Parker will be looking forward to getting back on the pitch as soon as possible to help his team finish the 2023/24 campaign on a strong note.
