KickOff.com can confirm that world governing body – FIFA – has acknowledged receipt of Jegbay Morris Konneh's contractual dispute claim against TS Galaxy.

Konneh was signed at the beginning of the 2024/25 season but left without playing due to paperwork issues.

The Liberian was involved in pre-season friendlies and spent six months at the club, before leaving frustrated at the end of last year.

Konneh then confirmed to this website in February that he would be undertaking legal proceedings against the club.

According to the player, he had signed a three-year deal effective July 1, 2024, but a series of issues ultimately led to him leaving and has joined LISCR on loan from fellow Liberian club FC Gar'ou.

The FIFA proceedings confirmed to this publication regarding the matter are that the claim has been submitted, and FIFA has acknowledged receipt as of Monday.

In accordance with the regulations, TS Galaxy have been given 21-day notice to submit a response in the contractual dispute case.

TS Galaxy already have two three-window transfer bans, which came into effect in December 2024, for other cases.

The club had to pay Ivorian striker Bernard Yao Kouassi approximately R1,8 million after he took up his case with FIFA last year.
