Ramovic: He should have been Coach of the Season
TS Galaxy head coach Sead Ramovic has explained why he believes Stellenbosch head coach Steve Barker should have been voted the DStv Premiership (now Betway Premiership) Coach of the Season award ahead of league winner Rulani Mokwena.
Barker, Mokwena and Orlando Pirates head coach Jose Riveiro all made the final three cut for the coach of the season award, which was ultimately won by Mokwena.

Under the guide of the 37-year-old, Sundowns bulldozed to a seventh consecutive league title with a record of 22 wins from 30, 7 draws and a single defeat.
Each of the three candidates also picked up at least a single piece of silverware throughout the season, with Barker winning the Carling Knockout after beating Ramovic's TS Galaxy in the final and Riveiro winning both the Nedbank Cup and MTN8, having beaten Sundowns in the final on both respective occasions.
Speaking at the launch of the MTN8 on Wednesday, Ramovic insisted that in his opinion, Barker should have been the Coach of the Season instead of Rulani Mokwena.
"Yes it's a beautiful opportunity, it's a great thing to be now in the Top 8. So, it will be of course great to play against a great team (Stellenbosch)," Ramovic began.
"We played against them and it was always very tough games and I always said that I like the coach a lot from the next opponent (Steve Barker). In my view, he actually was the coach of the season. It is just my opinion because what he did was just amazing."
"It will be a tough one and we are just preparing ourselves now and hopefully we can win."
