TS Galaxy are preparing to make their first new signing ahead of the start of their pre-season training after luring former Amazulu midfielder Siphelele Maduna to Mpumalanga.

Maduna has parted ways with Cape Town Spurs after spending six months with the club this past season.

The Kwazulu Natal-born midfielder is expected to sign a three-year deal after being reported to have already agreed in principle to relocate to Mpumalanga next season.

Maduna could be joined by his homeboy Sandile Mthethwa at the Rockets next season, according to sources close to the club.

Mthethwa is amongst the players set to be loaned out at Orlando Pirates next season.

"Maduna is going to TS Galaxy. The deal is almost done. The club is looking at adding a few players including Mthethwa from Pirates in preparations for next season," said the source.

Meanwhile, TS Galaxy is still yet to make a decision about the future of striker Bernard Parker for next season.

Parker spent the better part of last season on the sidelines after suffering a horrible his leg injury during a match against Mamelodi Sundowns.

The former Bafana Bafana striker's contract with the Rockets is due to expire at the end of June.
