Former attacking midfielder Gert Schalkwyk is backing Kaizer Chiefs to lift the Nedbank Cup to end the club's ongoing trophy drought.
Amakhosi advanced to the tournament's last 16 stage thanks to a 2-0 win over Maritzburg United at the Harry Gwala Stadium on Friday.

"They were playing very good their previous match against Maritzburg," Schalkwyk tells KickOff.
"There was a lot of running and lots of movement from the team.
"Before, they were just playing for the sake of playing, but now, they are gelling together.
"Arthur Zwane also made good changes by bringing in Happy Mashiane.
"He came on and made a big difference because the passes he provided unlocked the opponent's defence.
"It also gave Chiefs a lot of width, one thing I also like about Arthur is he always selects the young players.
"Junior players are always stepping up and are contributing.
"They are not just there for the sake of being there.
"It's possible for them to win this cup, this is the one cup they will be looking to win.
"It's the only cup remaining, so they will push until they can't anymore.
"If they can continue the way they did on Friday, they will win the Nedbank Cup."
