Parker makes honest admission over 'difficult' recovery
TS Galaxy striker Bernard Parker has opened up on the 'difficult' road to full recovery and revealed what's kept his spirits uplifted, as the veteran striker works his way back to competitive action.
The 36-year-old's career was thought to be all but over when he suffered a horrific injury from Mamelodi Sundowns' Bongani Zungu, during the two team's clash in October in the Carling Knockout.

Speaking ahead of Galaxy's upcoming Carling Knockout semi-final clash against AmaZulu, Parker opened up about his road to recovery.
"The recovery has been great, I would say for the last four weeks has been great," Parker said.
"The first two weeks was very very tough mentally I would say, and emotionally, but after then that it's been very very fruitful and I'm happy that the doctors are glad and giving me the thumbs up in terms of my progress I'm doing.
"I've been I've been just enjoying the recovery process taking it day by day.
"The most difficult part is when you're going through the suffering which I would say is the pain. Also the mental part as well, when you go to whole lot of things going through your mind regarding to what might happen in the future as well.
