Bafana Bafana coach Stuart Baxter has revealed how South Africa will deal with the threat of Nigeria striker and current Africa Cup of Nations joint top goalscorer Odion Ighalo in their quarterfinal tie tonight.
Ighalo, 30, occupies joint top spot on the Afcon top goalscorer chart, alongside Algeria international Adam Ounas, Senegal's Sadio Mane, and DR Congo's Cedric Bakambu.
Having directly contributed to four of the five goals scored by Gernot Rohr's charges at Afcon 2019 so far, the former Premier League star will undoubtedly be the Super Eagles' danger man in attack at the Cairo International Stadium.

"We don't make individual plans for players in terms of man-marking. We would solve that as a team," Baxter said in a press conference when asked how his charges will deal with Ighalo, as per punchng.com
"We would make it difficult for them (Nigeria) to play quality balls to their strikers and would defend like we normally defend.
"That is part of the ways you can make individual strategies to certain players. Being a central striker, Ighalo will fall into the back four as a unit, and we'll screen the midfield which will make it difficult for him."
Bafana, who got the better of Mohamed Salah's Egypt outfit in the previous round, will do battle against Nigeria in their quarter-final clash tonight, with kick-off set for 21:00.
