Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Marcello Allende has spoken out on leaving empty-handed at last season's PSL Awards.
The diminutive midfielder has been one of Sundowns' key players since arriving in Chloorkop on a big-money move ahead of the 2022/23 season.
Last season alone, Allende made a massive 44 appearances across all competitions, contributing four goals and six assists.

Despite his efforts, the 25-year-old was not nominated in any category for the 23/24 PSL all awards.
Speaking to media at the club's Media Open Day, Allende said he was more concerned with trophies than individual accolades.
"Well, I don't want to say I'm disappointed because for me I prefer the trophies," said the Chilean.
"It's a group sport, so for me, the most important thing is to win the trophies.
"For me, the disappointment was not winning the MTN8, not winning the Nedbank [Cup], and not winning the [CAF] Champions League.
"So, for this year, it's the challenge I have personally. The individual things, for me, it doesn't matter.
"I'm happy here because I play a lot of games, so when the players play many games, of course we improve every day. I'm so happy here and this is my challenge in this season, to play, play, play."
