Real Madrid join Manchester United in Paul Pogba chase

The Juventus midfielder is hot property in Europe, with his former English employers understood to be the hot favourites for his prized signature, with a €120million fee allegedly already agreed with the Old Lady.

Reports in Italy however suggest that a disparity regarding monies owed to his super-agent Mino Raiola have delayed the deal, with a further spanner now thrown in the works as Los Blancos head coach told media that his La Liga club are also interested in bringing the 23-year-old to the Santiago Bernabeu.

"In this moment we are still working [on a move for Pogba], and I cannot say anything more," Zidane said.

"Until August 31 anything can happen, but today he is not a Real Madrid player and I cannot talk about what will happen.

"I always say how things are, but now is not the time to talk about this. A lot of clubs are interested in Pogba.

"Real Madrid always want the best players. But we owe Juventus respect, and I can't say anything more out of respect."

Pogba scored 10 goals and provided 16 assists in 49 games as Juve claimed the domestic double last season.
