Revealed: What Bellingham told ref before red card

There was late drama in the end of Real Madrid's draw with Valencia, and it has now been revealed what Jude Bellingham told the referee before getting sent off.

The game finished 2-2 at the Mestalla as Los Blancos rallied back from two goals down thanks to a brace from Vinicius Junior.

The controversy came at the end when Bellingham thought he nodded home the winner but the full-time whistle had been blown before Brahim Diaz's cross went into the box.

The England international made his feelings clear to the referee after the game, which resulted in him getting a straight red card.

According to Fabrizio Romano, the young midfielder swore at the referee when telling him it was a goal.

"It's a f*cking goal, the ball is in the air, what the f*ck is that?!," Bellingham told the referee.

Los Blancos manager Carlo Ancelotti also leaped to the defence of Bellingham, who will now miss the match against Celta Vigo.

"What to say, there is not much to say. Something unprecedented has happened. I think the game had to end when Valencia had possession.

"Then Bellingham's red card bothered us because he didn't insult [the referee]. Bellingham told him 'it's a f*king goal', he didn't insult him.

"We will see what the referee writes in the act. The players are angry. We all have to calm down.

"We have an important game on Wednesday."
