Juventus: Paulo Dybala explains awkward Cristiano Ronaldo kiss

Dybala and Ronaldo made headlines last season after appearing to kiss each other while celebrating the match-winning goal during Juventus' 2-1 Serie A victory over Parma.

The incident went viral across social media at the time but the Argentine forward has laughed off suggestions that he and the five-time Ballon d'Or winner shared a passionate embrace.

"That image was taken against Parma from last season," Dybala told YouTuber Ibai Llanos, per Medio Tiempo. "During the match, I assisted him to score the goal and he came over to celebrate with me."

"When we were celebrating, we both turned to the same side and in the image, it seems like we were giving each other a kiss, but that's obviously not what happened."

Dybala also touched on Ronaldo's mindset in training and revealed that he and the Portuguese star were competing to see who would reach the milestone of 100 goals for the club first.

"We are both close to scoring 100 goals with Juventus," he said, per Football Italia. "I am missing one, he is missing three.

"He always wants to win, even in training and when he loses he becomes intractable for a few minutes. We train together, and we practice free-kicks. I take the ones on the right, he takes the ones on the left. He is totally obsessed. He always wants to win, always."
