Report: Juventus considering Cristiano Ronaldo sale

According to Italian publication Calciomercato, Juventus could look to offload a number of high-value and high-earning players when the transfer window opens later this year, including star forwards Paulo Dybala and Ronaldo.

Both Dybala and the five-time Ballon d'Or winner are contracted to the Serie A giants until June 2022 but could be offloaded a season prematurely in order to help the club alleviate its current financial burden, which more than doubled 2020's losses.

However, while the 36-year-old has seemingly become dispensible, the club is said to have made it clear that defender De Ligt will not be sold at any cost, with Juve reportedly looking to build their side around the FC Barcelona-linked Netherlands international.
