Bobby Motaung hints at more arrivals at Chiefs

Kaizer Chiefs general manager Bobby Motaung has hinted that more arrivals are expected at Kaizer Chiefs Village in addition to the seven signings already unveiled.

Chiefs are reportedly edging towards a move for AmaZulu and former Orlando Pirates striker Gabadihno Mhango.

Although Motaung denied the move, he confirmed the club is in the market for a striker, with Ranga Chivaviro having missed out on pre-season matches due to injury while Caleb Bimenyimana could still be on his way out of the club.

Additionally Khama Billiat has not renewed his contract a month after it expired, leaving Chiefs' number nine position to just Christian Saile and Ashley Du Preez.

"I don't have names at the moment, Kaizer Junior deals with the names. I deal with the team. The whole footballing environment," Bobby told SuperSportTv.

"Not Gabadinho Mhango, but we are looking at the striking force. We are looking to beef up our striking force."

"Obviously, we have had two injures, [or] three injuries in the striking department. Not Gabadinho Mhango. Kaizer Junior will announce [the new striker] soon."

Meanwhile, Amakhosi are also understood to be in the final stages of wrapping up a deal for Bafana Bafana midfielder Thabo Cele.
