Chippa United head coach Morgan Mammila is unfazed by the prospect of facing Kaizer Chiefs in his side's opening DStv Premiership clash after having recorded a win over the Soweto giants last season.
The Chilli Boys begin their DStv Premiership season with a clash against Chiefs on Sunday, 6 August at the Moses Mabhida Stadium.

Mammila, who has returned as head coach of Chippa after a spell with Moroka Swallows) towards the end of the 2022/23 season, is drawing confidence from a 2-1 win over the Soweto giants while at the helm of the Gqeberha-based side.
"We are starting (the season) with a big team in Africa, it's not a lie, but one thing is for sure is that I have never lost a game at Moses Mabhida. I have never," Mammila said at the DStv Premiership launch on Wednesday.
"I think we played against them last season at Moses Mabhida, I was head coach, we won 2-1. I went to Swallows, we played against them (Chiefs) in Polokwane. We won 2-1.

Amakhosi have strengthened their side with the aqcuisition of as many as seven signings so far, with one or two more still expected.
"They (Chiefs) are a different team, new sponsors, new players, I just have to go back and look where I can hurt them harder.
"It is worth noting that Chiefs defeated Lehlohonolo Seema-led Chippa United side 1-0 when the two teams met for the return fixture in April."
The Chilli Boys finished 14th position on the DStv Premiership table, just a point above relegated Marumo Gallants only avoided the relegation playoffs on goal difference.
