Following the departure of club captain Nacho, Real Madrid have now confirmed another first-team departure.
Striker Joselu will join Qatari side Al-Gharafa SC after the two clubs reached an agreement on Friday.
The Spanish striker spent the 2023/2024 season on loan at Los Blancos and scored 18 goals, including a brace against Manchester City in the second leg of their UEFA Champions League semi-final last month.

"After exercising their option to acquire the rights of the player Joselu Mato from R. C. D. Espanyol, Real Madrid C. F. has reached an agreement with Al-Gharafa SC regarding the transfer of our player," the club announced on their website.
"Joselu started playing for Real Madrid in the academy in 2010 at the age of 20 when he joined Castilla, where he played for 2 seasons and was involved in the promotion to the Second Division in the 2011-2012 campaign.
"Joselu has made 49 appearances for Real Madrid this 2023-2024 season, scoring 18 goals and winning three trophies: 1 Champions League, 1 LaLiga and 1 Spanish Super Cup.

"His two goals in the second leg of the Champions League semi-final against Bayern München saw Joselu play a very important role in reaching the final at Wembley and winning the 15th European Cup.
