The LALIGA side announced earlier this week that the 34-year-old had decided to part ways with the club after representing them from youth level and working his way up the ranks.

The defender's departure comes after a successful season that saw him captain the side that won the LALIGA, Spanish Super Cup and UEFA Champions League titles.

The player is claimed to have signed a two-year deal with the Saudi club, but admitted that leaving the Santiago Bernabeu was far from a straightforward decision.

"The decision of leaving Real Madrid is the toughest of my life," he said, per transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.

"I told the club many months ago, I had doubts then, but I'm happy for what we did.

"I've nothing left to win with Real Madrid."

Nacho, who is currently on international duty representing Spain at the 2024 UEFA European Championship, will be joining another league winner in Al Qadsiah.
