After Mamelodi Sundowns' FIFA Club World Cup participation fee was officially confirmed, KickOff looks at how much the Brazilians could make in all competitions this season.
Masandawana's record prize money for a single tournament was R75 million for winning the African Football League (AFL) last season.
And after qualifying for the expanded 2025 FIFA World Club, the Tshwane giants are guaranteed a whopping ($9.55 million) R173 million for participating, paid out to clubs from CAF.
The Brazilians can still make more money at the club world cup, as there are performances bonuses, with a win giving each team in the group stages $2 million (R38 million) and a draw paying out $1 million (R19 million).

After Masandawana were knocked out in the Nedbank Cup semi-finals by Kaizer Chiefs, they are set to receive R1 million.
However, there are bigger prizes ahead for Sundowns in the CAF Champions League, as just for reaching the semi-finals, they are guaranteed $1.2 million (R23 million).
Should the Ka Bo Yellow get past Al Ahly in the last four, they would have stepped into the prize of $2 million (R38 million) for a runners-up spot and can still bask in a $4 million (R76.5 million) for winning the tournament.
After losing out in the Carling Knockout against Magesi, Sundowns received R2.6 million as runners-up prize, excluding the participation fee of R250 000.

While their MTN8 exit in the semi-finals to Stellenbosch at the beginning of the campaign yielded only R1 million.
Masandawana are considered favourites to win the Betway Premiership for the eighth consecutive season, with the winner of the league set to receive a new prize for the championship of R20 million.
All in all, Sundowns could bank at least R200 million in prize monies in all the competitions this season, which would be a new record the club would have generated sporting achievements alone.
