This term, the 27-year-old ranks seventh in the FCSB squad for minutes played, underlining his importance to the team, according to Transfermarkt.

With only six play-off games remaining, Ngezana proved hugely influential in their most recent away match against Universitatea Craiova, which ended 0-0, as the former Kaizer Chiefs star helped secure a clean sheet.

Thanks to his excellent defensive display, Ngezana has now been named in the Romanian Professional Football League Team of the Week.

He is contracted to FCSB until June 2027, with the deal also including an option to extend for a further two seasons.
