OFFICIAL: Man Utd confirm another exit!

Manchester United have now confirmed the exit of yet another first-team player.

The Red Devils have announced that goalkeeper Dean Henderson has made the move to Crystal Palace for a reported package of £20 million (R467 million) that includes add-ons as well as a sell-on clause.

Henderson was expected to leave Old Trafford earlier in the window, but an injury to Tom Heaton delayed the move, according to Manchester Evening News.

The 26-year-old goalkeeper came through United's youth set-up, before going to on to have loan spells at Shrewsbury Town, Sheffield United, and then Nottingham Forest last season.

After returning to Old Trafford in 2020 following his temporary stint in Sheffield, Henderson struggled to cement his position as the club's first-choice keeper, and opted to spend the 2022/23 season on loan at the City Ground.

Following United's acquisition of Andre Onana from Inter Milan earlier in this transfer window, Henderson's prospects of becoming the club's No. 1 deteriorated further, even after David de Gea's departure as a free agent at the end of June.

He made 29 appearances for United's senior side, keeping 13 clean sheets in the process, but will now ply his trade for the Eagles.
