Pyramids make 'special request' after Bucs win

Pyramids have reportedly made a special request after reaching the CAF Champions League final on Friday night.

The Egyptian outfit advanced to their first-ever Champions League final after defeating Orlando Pirates 3-2 in the second leg of their semi-final.

With the team advancing to the final, Pyramids sporting Hany Said revealed the team has submitted a request for the Egypt Cup final against Zamalek to be postponed, according to Kooora.

The Egypt Cup final is scheduled to take place on 20 May, four days before the second leg of the Champions League final against Mamelodi Sundowns.

Pyramids will be competing in their first-ever Champions League final and will aim to get full preparation between the two legs.

Meanwhile, Pyramids coach Krunoslav Jurčić felt his side deservedly secured their spot in the final.

"were the better team in the match, as the players possessed strong personalities... and Orlando also played a great match," he said after the game, as per Kooora.
