Bafana Bafana star Bongokuhle Hlongwane has struck up a wholesome bromance with his new teammate amid the player's recent R51.7 million arrival from a Premier League club.
The story
The Minnesota United forward has been in blistering form this season having contributed 15 goals and three assists so far in 2023, the most by any player in his team. This excellent vein of form has undoubtedly earned him adoration from the people of the midwestern U.S state becoming one of the fan favourites for the Loons fanbase.
The 23-year-old has certainly raised his game amid the arrivals former Premier League striker Teemu Pukki from Norwich City and Sang-bin Jeong from Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The latter, who joined on a fee close to R52 million from Wolves, now seems to be quite close with the South African talisman, as the two were recently spotted at the Minnesota State Fair, a twelve-day event held annually to showcase the city's top offerings, culture, and tourism.
The pair looks to be hitting it off quite easily, with their two different worlds seemingly blending in harmoniously. The 21-year-old Jeong hails South Korea and already represented his national once - appearing alongside national team captain Son Heung-min of Tottenham Hotspur.
