Major set for potential Botswana move

Botswana side VTM FC looks set to turn their attention to former Orlando Pirates striker Lehlohonolo Majoro as their latest high-profile acquisition this season.

VTM were interested in veteran attacker Judas Moseamedi, with a potential deal failing to eventually materialise.

According to sources in Gaborone, Bafana ba Dijabane have already made contact with Majoro with the intention of luring the decorated striker to Botswana this season.

VTM have also retained the services of former Pirates duo Sfiso Myeni and Rooi Mahamutsa for the season ahead.

"There has been contact, but at the moment, nothing has been finalised.

"The club are looking for a striker, both locally and internationally, and Judas Moseamedi was another option," a source within the club tells KickOff.

VTM boss Vincent Mafuta could not be reached for comment.
