South Africa international Lebo Mothiba has revealed what he told his Strasbourg teammates before Bafana Bafana's important win over Morocco earlier this week! Let's take a look!
The story
Some are still celebrating Bafana's big 2-0 win over Morocco in the round of 16 of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations. Among them is Mothiba, who was unfortunately ruled out of the tournament through injury just weeks before it started.
Mothiba underwent surgery in December and remains in the process of recovery while his country competes in the Ivory Coast.

On Thursday, it was revealed that the centre-forward had been closely watching the game against the Atlas Lions on the Tuesday and he had in fact told his club teammates that his country would beat Morocco
In a video posted by Strasbourg on X, Mothiba said: "Ah yes, extraordinary, extraordinary.
"I slept so well but then I knew, I knew [they would win]. Yesterday I said it to Thomas [Delaine]
He added: "Only Thomas and I said we could do it, that we were going to do it.
"Since yesterday, I have been telling everyone about this match against Morocco.
"What's more, I wasn't stressed…I was calm…zen!"

The 28-year-old's return to action is yet to be confirmed. His club also recently confirmed the signing of Chelsea star Andrey Santos on loan for the remainder of the season.
