A distraught Thulani Ntuli has been left devastated by the sudden passing of his son and AmaZulu striker Bongi who lost a reported brief battle with cancer at the age of 32.
Ntuli passed away on Sunday after being diagnosed with what AmaZulu described in an official statement as an aggressive form of cancer.
The striker reportedly fell ill immediately after his wedding to fiancé and club CEO Sinenjabulo Zungu in September.

"Sifilwe imbiza (We lost the most important person as a family)," Thulani Ntuli tells KickOff.
"I am running short of words to describe Bongi.
"He was everything to the family. I am yet to meet a more respectful person than Bongi and alongside his humility.
"He was a loving and caring person.
"His passing is a big loss to the family. He was helpful in every way to the family. Even though I am a father, Bongi was carrying the responsibility as the head of the family.
"At the moment, we still have to meet as a family, and we will finalise the details of his funeral later on Monday."
The PSL released a statement earlier on Monday sharing its shock at the AmaZulu star's passing while announcing that a moment of silence will be held in honour of the player.
