Sundowns will host Wydad in their final CAF Champions League Group C encounter at Lucas Moripe Stadium on Saturday afternoon (15h00) faced with the task of earning at least a point in order to advance to the quarterfinals as group winners.
While The Brazilains will try to match the Moroccan giants on the pitch, Mosimane has since challenged the 'Yellow Nation' to try to emulate the supporters of Casablanca in the stands both in numbers and sportsmanship, as witnessed at the Stade Mohammed V in December.
"The Yellow Nation have been good, they've helped us; they've made noise; they've carried us; they are our 12th player, as I always say," acknowledged 'Jingles' before laying down the gauntlet.
"But the challenge is to match Wydad. We are expected to match Wydad on the pitch, as the team, players and coaching staff, I would like to believe that our supporters also wants to put a challenge against them.
"You see on social media and everywhere else, how they fill their stadium and the noise they make. I saw a picture of their supporters – they have about six drums lined up.
"We have three now, okay we are moving up a little bit. They have six drums lined up and they make a lot of noise – that's the challenge.
"They also sang for us and gave us a standing ovation [in Casablanca]; they chanted my name, which was humbling. So, we need to show as the Yellow Nation that we are capable of doing the same or better – that's my challenge to my people."
