Orlando Pirates qualified for the final of the 2021/22 CAF Confederation Cup after recording a 2-1 aggregate win over Libya's Al Ahly Tripoli, despite losing 1-0 at the Orlando Stadium on Sunday evening.
The result saw the Soweto giants reach the final of the competition for just the second time in the club's history, having previously ended as runners-up to Étoile du Sahel in 2015.
Plaudits were quick to follow in celebration of the club's achievements with former Mamelodi Sundowns coach and current Al Ahly boss Pitso Mosimane among those leading the singing of praises.
