Lebogang Manyama is making strides towards a long-awaited return to action at Cape Town City three months after his return to Cape Town following his Kaizer Chiefs departure.
Manyama last played a competitive match in March while still in the books of Chiefs against Orlando Pirates then sat on the bench as an unused substitute in the next before disappearing as his injury concerns took their toll on him.

Manyama's contract was then not renewed upon its expiry at the end of June and faced with recovering from injury at the time he then packed up and returned to City.
It was at City that Manyama played his best football and was voted the best in the league before moving to Turkey.
So, with that in mind, City have arranged to bring him back to the club while he undergoes his rehabilitation following knee surgery earlier in the year.
The 32-year-old has since been able to get a run in a friendly match but will only be available for selection in the New Year due to the forthcoming two-months break.
Though able to run and play, Manyama still has discomfort in his knee which is why his projected return is after the World Cup break.
Though City have been helping Manyama through his recovery he will only have a standing contract when fully recovered.
