"The colour of the new logo mirrors the PSL, the brand of Diski, the brand of DStv that we are partners in this initiative of growing football in the country."

Khoza added: "We're starting this weekend with two festivals on Saturday and Sunday, it's going to be a normal league that ends on 4 July. It's unfortunate that because of the Covid-19 that they 2019/20 season could not end."

Bidvest Wits were leading the 18-team league with two rounds of fixtures remaining before the league was declared null and void.
