The story
The experience midfielder traded Orlando Pirates for a move to CT City after spending five years with the Soweto giants.

Makaringe hasn't taken long to endear himself to his new colleagues and it seems that one of the ways he is doing so is demonstrating to his new team how cook pap.
In a general sense, it is not uncommon to find people who struggle to make pap, especially in a huge quantity. The midfield maestro can be viewed stirring a pot full of mealie meal and some say the trick to making the right pap is a strong arm.
Moreover, Makaringe used the traditional African potjie pots and judging the size of it, it could suggest he was cooking the pap for a big number of people.
Often served for dinner, pap can be enjoyed in different ways and settings, as it's useful during braais and some restaurants - especially in the townships, serve it with other meals like tripe.

Meanwhile, former Pirates player Oupa Manyisa recently revealed that it came as a shock for him when Makaringe left the Bucs.
"It's so unfortunate [for Makaringe and Monare] when you are playing at a team like Orlando Pirates, and it's time to leave," said Manyisa.
Basically, you have to play to stay there and to hold on, and at the end of the day, you have to play football. "They [Pirates] are trying to continue with other players that they have in the squad. But it came as a shocker when they were to leave the club."
