Sunglass Hut and Kickoff approached four rising stars who participated in a photoshoot where the quartet of youngsters got to show off a side to them that fans may have not seen before.
As part of the campaign, this week sees the former Orlando Pirates trialist Masonwabe Gana sit down with Kick off and share some of the best advice he has heard, the greatest footballer of all-time and favourite his off-field activities.

1. When did you realise you want to become a professional footballer?
I started playing football from the age of five and I realised when I was 11 that I can become a professional footballer. I won the Player of the Season at that time with my former club. Everyone told me I should take my career serious and I can be a professional.
2. Who is the GOAT footballer?
For everyone it is Lionel Messi or Ronaldo but for me it is Toni Kroos. He is one of the best players in the world. He won every trophy for club and country.
3. What is the best advice anyone has ever given you on or off the field?
Stay humble on and off the field and always respect other people. I must not look down on them.

4. Tell us a bit about your style, do you prefer casual or formal?
I am a casual person. A jeans and t-shirt are enough for me even a tracksuit.
5. Is there any footballer or celebrity whose drip you would like to mirror?
Teko Modise. He does not disappoint when it comes to drip. He is always perfect.
6. Who is the most stylish player in the DStv Premiership and why?
Thembinkosi Lorch, he is always on point. Every shirt is wearing is always nice.
7. How important is having a social media platform for a professional footballer?
It is important to encourage fans and people to learn more about yourself.
8. How do you deal with the trolls or negative comments on social media?
9. Do you have any other hobbies or interests outside of soccer?
I like to sing.
10. Considering you like to sing, Who is your favourite artist?
Emtee the rapper. My favourite genres are gospel, Amapiano but I prefer the latter most of the time.

11. If you couldn't be a professional soccer player, what would you do instead?
I would be a sports analyst.
12. What is on your music playlist. What gets you pumped before a game?
Amapiano. Songs such as Mnike from DJ Maphorisa, Nandipha808, Ceeka RSA Tyron Dee.
13. How do you deal with disappointment after a loss?
I listen to music and I have that mindset that we can do better the next game.
14. If you had any advice for your younger self, what would it be?
Be honest and just know that good things take time.
15. What was the biggest lesson you learned so far in your career?
Stay humble, do not rush things. Respect others and stay focused on my career.
16. Orlando Pirates are one of the biggest sides in the league, do you feel that weight of expectation when you wear the shirt?
Yes, I do because the team wants to win each and every game.
17. Can you play an instrument, or which one would you like to?
I would like to play the piano.
