That Manqoba Mngqithi hasn't had the best of starts at Mamelodi Sundowns after taking over from Rulani Mokwena is without a doubt considering the resources at the club and what they have grown accustomed to.
An extra-time win over Polokwane City courtesy of an own goal, plus similar 1-0 defeats to Stellenbosch FC have meant a Sundowns player is yet to score in three games.

This has then meant the focus has zoomed in towards Mngqithi as the man in charge of the dressing room.
The prophets of doom are already suggested it will be a matter of when instead of if for the 53-year-old in terms of getting the sack this season.
Mngqithi has kept his tranquil.
"When you are leading an orchestra, try to turn away from the crowd.
"It is always important," he responds about being questioned on how he is shielding himself from the stones being thrown at him after the slow start.
Through that, there will be the issue of managing expectations at a club that has won 17 trophies since the turn of the New Year in 2014.
"This season will be about winning because we have a responsibility, we have the resources, and we have everything that is necessary to win.
"So, we should try and push to win.
"We don't have room for excuses, we have got everything that we need.
"And when you have got everything that you ask for as a coach, the only thing left for you is to try and make sure that you fight to win games, fight to utilise scoring opportunities.
"Even if you don't get clean sheets, you play to score more than the opposition.
"We know very well that the MTN8 has always been a cup that is a challenge for us all the time.

"Even when we won the Champions League, the only cup that we didn't win was the MTN8.
"We have a responsibility to fight to win the championship and I think we have the right ammunition to win the championship," says Mngqithi.
