Orlando Pirates have reportedly added highly-regarded striker coach Scott Chickleday to their technical team to improve the Buccaneers' scoring woes.
While it has not been confirmed which specific role Chickleday will fulfil at the club, the UEFA Licence qualified coach has previously served as a striker coach for Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur and Championship outfit Queens Park Rangers.
Chickleday took to social media to confirm his arrival at Rand Stadium – the Buccaneers' training camp in Johannesburg on Wednesday.

The 46-year-old specialises in individual training for strikers and attacking players having worked with Liverpool's Harvey Elliott and Chelsea's Xavier Simmons on a one-on-one basis.
Pirates have so far struggled in front of goal this season despite some of their dominant performances.
What a session with @LFC hotshot Harvey Elliott! The levels in this boy are an absolute joke! Working on finishing in and around the box! Big season ahead ???? shout out to @Playermakertech for getting involved and @BurnhamFC1878 for use of facility #becomeelite pic.twitter.com/nnyUVZHtL3

With just nine goals scored in 14 matches, the Buccaneers are the third-lowest scoring team in the DStv Premiership. Only bottom-of-the-table Maritzburg United (7) and TS Galaxy (8) have scored less.
The last time Pirates found the back of the net in a Premiership match was in October last year, in a 2-0 win over Golden Arrows.
