Pirates welcome back key players...

Orlando Pirates have been handed a boost as several key players previously injured have now been confirmed to have returned to full training.

Bucs touched down in Algeria on Sunday to put in the final preparations for their CAF Champions League group stage clash against CR Belouizdad taking place on Tuesday.

Ahead of that match, head coach Jose Riveiro will be pleased to have benefitted from the international break with a strengthened side that now includes several players who have fully recovered from their respective injuries.

These include vice-captain centre-back duo Tapelo Xoki and Sandile Mthethwa, who have not featured at all this season.

Xoki got injured in May last season in a league clash against Richards Bay FC.

Another defensive duo that has returned to full training are new signings Deano Van Rooyen and Thabiso Lebitso.

The latter has not featured so far this season due to injury, while Van Rooyen has been sensational since his arrival at the start of the campaign but got injured in October against AmaZulu FC.

Makhehlene Makhaula, Thuso Moleleki and Ethan Visagie have also returned to training.

On a negative note, Pirates will still be without defender Olisa Ndah, striker Zakhele Lepasa and midfielder Goodman Mosele.

The trio did not travel with the team to Algeria as they continue their rehabilitation.

The match at the Stade du 5 Juillet in Algiers kicks off at 21:00 (SA time).
