TS Galaxy extended their unbeaten run to eight matches after a 1-1 draw against Golden Arrows in the Betway Premiership on Saturday afternoon.
Arrows made two changes following their narrow win over Kaizer Chiefs, as Brandon Theron and Kagiso Malinga were recalled.
Galaxy, meanwhile, also showed two alternations after their goalless draw against Magesi, as Samukelo Kabini and Nhlanhla Mgaga made a comeback.
Abafana Bes'thende built up attacking momentum in the early exchanges, as with 17 minutes on the clock, Velemseni Ndwandwe gave them the lead with a glancing header from a cross by Siyanda Mthanti.
It took The Rockets, however, only three minutes to respond after Victor Letsoalo levelled matters with a diving header from close-range after a cross by Kganyane Letsoenyo.
As the game opened up, Angelo Van Rooi came close to restoring the lead for the hosts ten minutes before the break with a grass-cutter that needed the finger tips of goalkeeper Ira Tape to keep out of the bottom corner.
The pace of the match, however, slowed down towards the interval, as the sides went to the break level pegging.
Adnan Beganovic's charges were threatening early in the second stanza but were casual in front of goal.
With the game needing spark for the final 20 minutes, Beganovic made a tactical change after he brought on former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Keagan Dolly in place of striker Dzenan Zajmovic.
The Rockets continued to pressurize Arrows, who sat deep, in the closing stages but were not threatening goalkeeper Ismail Watenga.
Mlungisi Mbunjana had a glorious chance to snatch the winner for the visitors in added time after he dribbled his way through in the box but he ballooned his shot over the crossbar, with only Watenga to beat.
Dolly also came close to netting the winner for The Rockets with a free-kick that came off the post and the game ended all square.
