Former Orlando Pirates head coach Roger De Sa believes the South African players plying their trade elsewhere on the continent will benefit more than they would had they moved to Europe.
The former assistant coach of the Egypt national team says the top African leagues are better than some of the leagues in Europe.

Recently, South African players have been looking for greener pastures in neighbouring countries, particularly in North Africa, where their speed and trickery is a rare commodity.
De Sa believes playing in such leagues is of great financial benefit to Mzansi stars.
"I think it's beneficial. I think anyone who can fly straight outside of the country will learn a lot, and he will develop better," the ex-Bafana Bafana goalkeeper tells KickOff.
"I think that's important. I think that's great to see. I mean, in our local market, we continuously get African players, so why can't it happen the same way?
"Especially to players who go to good competitive leagues. Financially, they get rewarded, and they gain a lot of experience.
"I think some of the African leagues in Northern Africa are better than some European leagues. So, it's a good thing for the players who are moving there.
"I think competitiveness is good, and also financially, I think the big clubs in Northern Africa can compete financially with a lot of medium-sized clubs in Europe," he continues.

De Sa says in the case of a local player having a choice between going to a country like Sweden, Austria, Norway or Belgium, and North Africa, that player might be better off going to the latter.
"If you're gonna go to Premier League, La Liga, it's a different story, but if you go to a smaller club in Europe and in a not-so-good league, you're probably better off going to a top club in Africa."
Some of the players to have made the switch to North Africa include Elias Mokwana and Khanyisa Mayo, having been recruited by clubs in Tunisia (Esperance) and Algeria (CR Belouizdad) respectively.
Meanwhile, Bongani Zungu is strongly linked with a move to Wydad Casablanca in Morocco, where he would be set to reunite with head coach Rulani Mokwena.
